Michael Kiwanuka is a singer-songwriter who recently won the BBC's sound of 2012 award. With strong influences including Otis Redding and Bill Withers, the British soul singer has high expectations for this year. His first and only album, Home Again, was released in March 2012 and has received glowing reviews. His unique voice is something the music industry has not witnessed since the likes of Withers and Randy Newman. The album is fantastic and is a perfectly balanced combination between soul and folk music.
